CATTITUDE POSTAGE STAMPS
A series of postage stamps featuring five different cat breeds. My goal with this series was to hone my skills in stylized illustrations that were graphic by not simply vectorized. Through my use of bright colors, linework, and only including relevant details of the cats, I was able to achieve this more graphic illustration style.
I wanted to have fun with the personality and expressions of each of the cats, highlighting the moodiness of cats, their “cattitude.”
Scale was also an important aspect of the designs. The stamps measure 1.25 in by 1.5 in. The compositions and bold colors allow for the silhouettes to be distinct and recognizable.
