Art book design created as a homage to the illustration and textile design work of E.A. Séguy.

I worked to pair scans of the original printed plates with patterns featured in the sets, comparing what must’ve inspired Séguy to create such beautiful patterns.


For the cover, I isolated some of my favorite illustrations, situating them in a way so that they interacted with the type while maintaining a sense of organization.


Book is hand-stitched and bound in signatures, measuring 9 in x 12 in.
